The Gospel is an invitation into relationship.
We strongly believe that the Gospel’s invitation to a relationship with God also includes the call to live out our spiritual lives in the context of a local church.
With that in mind, “Exploring Gracefields” and “Joining In” are designed to welcome newcomers and help you connect with the community at Gracefields.
This is an in-person meeting where we talk about who we are and what is important to us over some food. Childcare is provided for the morning sessions, which take place after the 8 am and 10 am services. We also have Exploring Gracefields after our evening service at 7:30pm.
Exploring Gracefields is for anyone who is new or who still feels new. If you want to get to know us better, meet new people, or just ask some questions, Exploring Gracefields is your next step. We would love to help you connect with us more relationally because we believe that the gospel of Jesus invites us to new, changed lives to be lived out in the local church family.
Our next Exploring Gracefields will take place on 13 October. Please sign up using the link below:
Joining In is a series designed to help those who’ve done Exploring Gracefields to take another step in connecting with the Gracefields Church community. It consists of three sessions, each exploring an important aspect of our beliefs. These convictions shape how we do things at Gracefields Church, and we hope they will help you understand why we do things the way we do.
We encourage people to attend Exploring Gracefields first. Having done that, you can decide if you’d like to continue with Joining In. At the end of the series, we invite you to join one of our Fellowship Groups and serve in a Team that suits your gifts and abilities.
The next Joining In program will begin on 22 October 2024. The topics covered in each session are:
- God saves – His grace comes to us in Christ.
- God relates – He is a Trinitarian God of relationship.
- God speaks – He communicates to us through His Word.
- God sends – He reaches out to a lost and broken world.
